Call for Resumes

Omnet, Inc. is preparing proposals to a number of agencies, such as the FCC and the Defense Information Systems Agency, and anticipates contract awards in the near future. Therefore, we're now accepting resumes, to create a talent pool of qualified people. We will then tap this pool when we get a contract award.

 

In our front office, we use Microsoft Windows (95/98/00), but plan to convert to Linux fairly soon, as our servers and development operations run on Linux.

 

We are looking for programmers, system administrators, managers, web designers, writers, and other people, with the following skills, experience, and other considerations:

Other considerations:

 

• Willingness to re-locate to the Staunton, Virginia HUBZone (Go to http://map.sba.gov/hubzone/init.asp, click on Virginia, and zoom in on Augusta County and Staunton) would be a plus.

   

• Security clearance may be required for some government contracts

   

• Ability to work well in a team, good language skills, and a reliable work ethic are essential.
